Vision Mapping Template.pdf

Purpose: This template helps you get clear on your desired direction — personally, professionally, or both — by defining your long-term vision and mapping the decisions, values, and identity that align with it. You don’t need to have all the answers — just honest clarity on what matters most and where you're heading.

How This Works: The 6 Core Components

The Vision Mapping Template is made up of six powerful components that, together, help you design a life and career rooted in clarity, alignment, and bold direction. Each section builds on the next to help you uncover who you're becoming and what you're building—so your decisions, energy, and habits serve a greater outcome.

The Six Components:

  1. Core Vision Statement – Your vivid 3–5 year future, written as if it’s already happening.
  2. Pillars of the Vision – The foundational areas that matter most to you (e.g., health, wealth, relationships).
  3. Identity Alignment – Who you need to become to live your vision. We define mindset, traits, and habits that future-you embodies.
  4. Non-Negotiables – The values, standards, or boundaries you’ll no longer compromise.
  5. Vision Risks – The mindsets, behaviors, or patterns that could sabotage your progress.
  6. First 3 Moves – The first, simple steps to build momentum—starting now.

Section 1: Core Vision Statement

Prompt: What do you want your life and/or work to look and feel like 3–5 years from now? Describe it as if it's already happening.

Example:

“I am leading a purpose-driven business that impacts thousands of lives. I have time freedom, I’m surrounded by a values-aligned team, and I feel deeply connected to my purpose every day. I wake up excited and go to sleep fulfilled.”

Section 2: Pillars of the Vision

Prompt: Identify 4–6 key areas that matter most in your future vision (e.g., Health, Purpose, Relationships, Impact, Finances, Lifestyle, Leadership).

Example:

Section 3: Identity Alignment

Prompt: Who do you need to become to live that vision? What qualities, habits, and mindset define that future version of you?
